Save Your Money. I bought this for my 2.5 year old who loves playing coloring games, watching Netflix (Cocomelon), Disney plus and a few other little kid games. Her big brother broke her screen on her old tablet and then she gave it a bath. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So i went in search of the same tablet (purchased on Amazon over a year ago). I couldn’t seem to find it and came across this one and based on the reviews I figured it was a good choice, especially for the price. Well….I guess you get what you pay for because it is TERRIBLE. First, it is smaller than I thought which wasn’t a deal breaker although I would have preferred it a size or two up. The case is really cheap and flimsy and the handle pops out of the hole it goes in all the time and the kick stand on it broke in less than a week and wasn’t worth anything to begin with. The battery life is garbage. The real big deal breaker is, it is so SLOW to the point of being useless. I have only download like three games on it for her and we can’t get any to load unless you wait forever! Our internet connection is fine, as no other devices have issues, I have tried restarting it and all the other tricks in the book. It worked at first but I would have to constantly shut it off and turn it back on. It is garbage. You can’t even download Netflix on it and she is young and doesn’t understand that it can’t be installed on it so it’s a constant upset when she can’t watch any of her shows on it, when it even works!I do not recommend at all and I basically flushed money down the drain because she will barely even try and play with it because it never loads anything including the preloaded apps/games. So now I have to hearing bickering over her brother or older sisters tablet because hers is junk. Save yourself the headache and find another tablet. This isn’t even good for a toddler!

Overall what I needed. You obviously can’t beat the price, and I love that it came with a case. There are some drawbacks though, especially if you are used to an iPad!! The screen just isn’t very user friendly for a kid and is frustrating for me as well, it’s really slow (not an internet issue because our iPad is fast), and there are certain apps and features you can’t download on the kid screen. For example, on the parent setting there is a clock. My 9 year old likes to set an alarm each morning, but it’s not available on the kid screen. I checked the App Store and there is one option available for her. Just weird stuff like that. We also couldn’t download Prime, which is bizarre because we were able to get Netflix and Disney+. My daughter still loves it though because she doesn’t have to share it with her brother, so overall still a good purchase.

Game changer for road trips. The media could not be loaded.  My husband and I drove from Western Montana to Southern Nevada (Nearly 1000 miles) over Christmas break this year with our 14 month old. This tablet was perfect because we were able to download our son’s favorite movies on the Disney Plus App to play for him when he started getting restless or fussy on the drive. The case is included and is great quality with a built in adjustable stand.My only criticisms would be that the interface is pretty clunky and there isn’t a way to download YouTube kids (or if there is a way, it is not straightforward or user friendly like downloading other apps was). We were really hoping to download some Ms. Rachel videos but weren’t able to find a way to.Overall this tablet is an awesome value for the price and the Amazon guarantee gives great piece of mind when your kid inevitably drops it a million times. This is a great gift for holidays, birthdays, or just because. An added bonus is you can add an adult profile and use the tablet as a kindle too!

Perfect for kids. I purchased this tablet for my 4 year old, and am extremely happy with my purchase. The tablet itself is very nice and so is the case it comes in, very durable. Set-up was quick and simple, as is the overall structure of the tablet. I also like the parental control options such as, daily limits, and a breakdown of your child’s activity. There is an app you can download on your phone as well to keep an eye on the things your child is doing. Those features are very important to me as a parent! If you are looking for a tablet for your kids, I highly recommend this one. The only complaints are the handle on the case and battery life. The handle on the case is a hard plastic, whereas the rest of the case is more of a soft, cushion-like material that is durable. I would prefer the handle was the same material as the rest of the case, as the plastic handle seems a little flimsy and easy to break, so far it has held up. The battery life could be better too. If you plan on taking a long road trip or something, be sure to have a charger for the car because it will not last after 4-5 hours of continued use. Granted, most days the tablet isn’t being used consistently in our household, but it’s something to keep in mind when purchasing if you need a device with a longer battery life. Aside from those small complaints, everything else about this tablet is wonderful. Lastly, I do recommend either purchasing a memory card for this device, or chosing the larger storage option.

Great for kids. We bought this tablet for my daughter after her last one broke. The package was delivered quickly and on time. Inside was the tablet, case, charging cord, and wall adapter. We upgraded to the newer version that is designed for older kids. This tablet has a much sleeker case but it is still sturdy and protective. Plus she loves the cute colorful design. The battery life is decent but of course will deplete faster when using certain apps. We charge it 3-4 days a week and it charges easily and fast. The table is very lightweight with a screen the perfect size for my daughter to watch movies, read books, or play games. And the headphone jack is ideal when we are on the go. Being able to download apps is also great when we are away and can’t always connect to WIFI. Whether connected to the internet or not, all the apps seem to perform faster than her last tablet too. My favorite feature is all the parental controls. Some are set by default but can easily be changed. I love that I can set screen time limits and require a set time amount of something educational be done before the other apps are available. This product is definitely worth getting for your children.

Amazing choice. My son loves his new Tablet, Lucian is 1 yrs old going on 2 and he used to attack his 5 year old sister for he amazon fire tablet so my wife and I thought it was about time he got his own. This new version has a longer battery life witch is super helpful for this nights when Lucian won’t go to sleep and my wife and I need sleep for work, so we let him watch his shows and as we sleep. The performance is spot on. Lucian like to take his table all over our duplex so the portability of it comes in handy.

Love. I got this for my 8 year old son. He’s pretty rough on things and it’s been doing amazing, I ordered a tempered class screen protector as well. The battery life is great and I love the stand that it comes with! I can put down time on it so he can’t stay up all night and play it. Purple Tablet. This is a great tablet, it works really well for my 7 year old! I like that I can control a lot of what it can do, such as parental controls. It had a fast charger and stays charged for a couple days. It’s also very durable. I really like this tablet.

Replaced the 2023 Model with this one. Big Improvement. We had the 2022 Kids Tablet and had issues with it from day one. Worked with Tech support to get a refund and then ordered this model. Vast improvement in performance, stability and battery life over the last years model.We took this with us on a flight to Hawaii and our son watched movies and played games the whole way without any crashes, lags or battery issues.The protective case is thinner which works well for our 8 year old son that wasn’t enjoy the thick padding of his old tablet (though it was an amazing protective case). The new thinner style for older kids still provides a lot of protection while giving him better hand grip.Great Tablet and I would absolutely recommend picking it up for your child.

Very sturdy for the price. Works well and they take them absolutely everywhere because they don’t like being in the car at all. Best purchase I have made and keeps them entertained while in stores. The best kids tablet there is. This is our second Amazon kids fire tablet purchase. The first tablet is still going strong after several years of use by my daughter and is being handed down to her little brother. The battery life is phenomenal, and the books, shows, and games that are available are so numerous my kids never run out of content to explore! We mostly use the tablet for traveling or long car rides. Everything is so well designed, we love the cute little portable handle.

Great upgrade. We had the kids fire 7 for three years and we’ve never had any issues! But, it was definitely time for an upgrade. My 6yo found most of the games babyish and now that he just completed kindergarten I figured he was ready for update tabby. As soon as turned it on I could see right away the diffence just by the screen color! The size is just perfect for him – I did, however, buy a different case. The one that it came with didn’t seems like it would hold up against a 6yo lol so I purchased a thicker one. The tablet had been on for 3 days and is only just now at 40% battery! I definitely recommend this tabby for and 6 and higher! I love that as he grows I can change the age restrictions for his age range!

The tablet’s case is made of thick foam, the case feels soft and provides good drop protection. The screen is currently in good condition with the protection. My child uses it to watch cartoons. The colors are bright, sound quality is decent with no distortion at high volume. The touch screen works well. The built-in stand is convenient to use. Occasionally, the system experiences minor lag, but it runs smoothly most of the time. You can install apps from the Google Play. It’s lightweight and works well for kids to watch cartoons while riding in the car.

Solid tablet for kids. Tablet is perfect for kids. We have three and this one works well with good protection from the case and performance of the tablet is not lacking. We were gifted another tablet that is an off-brand Android based tablet, this one really performs compared to that. Price for your value, this is a rockstar.

25 hours. The tablet worked less than 24 hours. Literally, set it up, charged it and watched 3 episodes of PAW Patrol. The battery went down to 60%. My husband cut if off (shut down completely) for bed time. I went to put it on charger to get it ready for our long vacation drive in the morning, and the thing will not cut on at all, not show the charging battery icon.
