I have a full Pixel 3 XL for work, and was excited for the 3a XL hit the market. Highly Recommended. After several years of growing tired of my Samsung Galaxy work phones getting slower and more bloated with the Samsung UI, I was convinced by coworkers to go to a Pixel. I got the Pixel 3 XL and instantly loved it. Seconds, rather than minutes, to boot. A fast UI experience. Frequent and comprehensive OS updates that aren’t lagging months behind the Android updates. A fantastic camera. What’s not to love?Even though I refer to my Pixel 3 XL as my work phone, the truth is that I haven’t had a personal phone in over a decade… who wants to carry two phones? Then again, there is something to be said about having a healthy work/life balance. With that in mind, I was curious when I heard about the 3a coming to the market… as much as I love the 3 XL, I can’t say that I was super excited to spend $900 on a phone. When the 3a XL dropped below $300 (after the deal that gave you a $100 GC), it seemed like a no brainer. As someone that has both a 3XL and a 3a XL, here’s what I can tell you:SCREENUnlike the 3 XL, the 3a XL has no screen “notch”. Where there are some parts of the UI that take advantage of the notch, there are just as many applications that leave an annoying color (non-black) artifact in the notch area when watching landscape full-screen video – it’s SUPER annoying. The 3a XL’s screen is slightly smaller than the 3 XL, and while it’s also a little lower resolution, the density (as a result of the smaller diagonal measurement) doesn’t drop that much. In general usage I don’t notice any difference. The 3a’s screen is OLED, but it appears to be a quality tier below the 3 XL’s… you can see it if they are side-by-side, but you wouldn’t notice it if you were going from memory.CAMERAPixel phones are renown for their camera performance. While the raw specs tend to be behind other flagship phones’ optics and CCDs, the actual picture quality tends to be at or near the top of the heap. The Pixel 3a XL is no different, as the rear camera is the same as the one on the 3 XL. The front camera (which I really don’t care as much about) goes with a single, rather than a dual, camera setup. It’s not the same as either front-facing camera on the Pixel 3 XL, but the software (which is largely responsible for the picture quality), is the same. Both cameras appear to be excellent.FORM FACTORThe Pixel 3a XL is slightly larger than the Pixel 3 XL. Some of it may be due to the notch-less screen causing the speaker and camera to be mounted above the screen. Some may be due to the larger capacity battery. Perhaps it’s also influenced by the case material on the back being made of plastic, rather than glass. Regardless, the phone is about 10% lighter, which is enough to be noticable. An omission that I don’t love is that the 3a XL does not support wireless chaging… it’s not the end of the world, but it is missed.PERFORMANCEThe 3a XL does have a significantly slower CPU than the 3 XL. The layout of both processors is to have 4 high speed cores, and 4 slower cores. The general idea is that the system workloads can be managed by the OS’es thread scheduler, and be placed on to the lowest power consuming core that is still adequate for the job. Both phones are fine with multitasking. I didn’t actually notice any performance difference is the UI or in application speeds, but I also am not a mobile gamer… I would expect for the difference to be most obvious there (assuming there is one). I was a little surprised when the 3 XL came out with 4GB of RAM (since I didn’t know if that would be enough), but that worked out well. The 3a XL has the same 4GB of RAM and therefore has similar performance.NOTABLE DIFFERENCES NOT ALEADY MENTIONEDOddly, the Pixel 3a XL has a headphone jack. That’s noteworthy because the 3 XL does NOT have a headphone jack. I know there are some “purists” that are anti-bluetooth, but I’d say that a phone is not an audiophile platform anyway. Even if you have awesome $1500 headphones, I can still tell you that the DAC in your sub-170 gram phone is junk (comparatively). One of the really nice features of the Pixel 3 XL is that it’s waterproof… the 3a XL is not. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but I can see where this would affect some peoples’ choices. In conclusion, I thought the deal I got on Amazon when I bought my 3a XL was so good that I bought the phone without even knowing if I’d get a service plan for it. Now that the 3a XL is at its “normal” price I still think it’s an incredible deal, and I really question anyone who would buy a different phone at this device’s price point. Highly Recommended.

Better than expected. Let me start by saying that I’ve never used an iPhone. I have had a couple of the Galaxy S series phones but that was several years back (3&4). I have been buying unlocked phones online for the last few purchases.I really like the Motorola/Lenovo line of unlocked mid-level hardware phones. The phones work well but the hardware was uninspiring. My last three unlocked phones were an Essential PH-1, Honor 7+ and a OnePlus 6T. Of those 3 it’s hard to beat the 6T. Hardware is premium and the phone works well. The Essential phone felt great but the camera was average. I dropped the phone a few times and although the screen never cracked (it was in a case) the digitizer stopped responding. So, this was my replacement option.I really like this phone. The camera is pretty amazing for a 300 dollar phone. I challenge anyone to show me a phone at this price point with a better camera experience. I will say that I’ve noticed a ‘processing’ message in the bottom left corner of the camera interface when taking pictures under less than ideal conditions. I can only assume that is the software processing the images through whatever algorithm the Google engineers have come up with to create such strong results from a single camera. I assume that the top line Pixel phones with their higher end processors will be a little quicker in performing this function. I haven’t found it to be an issue though.Although this is the cheaper of the pixel line of phones, it actually feels pretty solid. I’ll try to update the review with a couple of non personal photos soon.I find the battery life to be adequate. It’s not the best but I feel like it’s good enough. If you want a phone with a pure Android experience, solid financial value and an amazing camera experience, you would be hard pressed to find a better deal than the Pixel 3A.

Unspectacular but solid. When the new Pixel 4 was released I took a look at my two-year-old Pixel 2 and wondered if I really needed to upgrade, given what a great phone it had been, and still is. Giving in to a bit of retail therapy is easy, so I did. It’s an expensive business getting a Pixel phone in this country (New Zealand) since it’s a buy from Amazon in the US, shipping to the other end of the world, paying GST (our sales tax) converted to NZ dollars added up to $1,550.Was it worth it? Let’s take a look.** Edit: After nearly a year, I just love this phone, absolutely rock-solid even with over a hundred apps installed, I’m revising from 4 to 5 stars **I’ve owned a lot of android phones and had the Pixel 4 for a few months now and it’s performed pretty much flawlessly, both the software and the hardware – as I expected it would. I really like Google’s own implementation of their Android O/S – it’s clean and just works. There are some UI annoyances that I’ll come to later. Other makes (Huawei, Samsung) all seem to be clogged up with unnecessary and buggy extra apps and take years to get Android updates through. I get Google’s updates within days of release and I’ve never had a bad one.In their attempt to regain a handful of pixels from the bottom of the screen, Google have removed the Home and Back on-screen buttons and replaced them with gestures. This has or will probably occur on other makes of phone as Android 10 rolls out. The new gesture needs a swipe from the bottom edge (home) or from either side (back), and I pretty much hate it. ** Edit: You can turn that off and now I like it **If you miss the edge (it’s tricky if you have a case with a raised edge) then you end up swiping the app off to somewhere unwanted. If you get a bit close to the edge when you’re scrolling within an app, you suddenly go home or back. It doesn’t happen to me very often but when it does happen it’s infuriating. Hint: When buying a case, look for one with a low profile on the screen side – though that won’t protect the screen quite as well.As for other features, I’m not so sure there’s a lot to say. The main one is the face recognition lock which I’ve turned on and also the “Keep phone unlocked while I’m looking at it” option. I like that one, it saves the phone going black when I’m taking my time reading, or something. It’s also nice to just pick up the phone and look at it, it’s so natural, quick and easy. People seem unduly worried about the security of this feature, I’m not sure why except maybe for the unlock while you’re asleep. If someone is in a position to do that, then they are also in a position to do many awful things to me and additionally, the banking and other vulnerable stuff on my phone has a further level of security. The screen is up to par, and the glass is nice not picking up oily finger goop like all my others did after a while. I’ve given up on screen protectors, my phones are pretty safe being mostly in my pocket, and I like the feel of the screen. Feels like a solid build to me without being too heavy, though it’s heavier than the Pixel 2 and has quite a bit more screen, mostly in the length.People seem to rave about the camera and I agree it’s good, but so was the Pixel 2 so the step up doesn’t seem huge to me – but then I’m no camera buff. The Pixel 2 was a bit better at close-ups which I do a lot of when working with electronics. The Pixel 4 can be zoomed up to 8x but can’t focus closer than about 120mm which limits its use as a macro camera. The P2 was good down to about 60mm. (4.7″ and 2.4″)Sound is surprisingly good watching a video. There’s nothing at the bass end but that’s to be expected in such a small body. The volume is good and the sound spread is wide though perhaps a bit overdone. I’m not in a cathedral. I regularly use speakerphone and also Sennheiser Bluetooth headphones, and they perform very well on both phone calls and music. Bluetooth, WiFi, and 4G connectivity all seem solid.Battery life is marginal, my only real complaint about the hardware. An overnight charge to 100% would all be gone by 7pm if I wasn’t quite careful. To counter this I bought a charger for the car so I can give it a commute-time top-up and things are better now. Wireless charging is cool and Qi chargers all seem to work fine. Makes charging in the car a breeze with a charger built into the holder. Wireless charging is not fast, about 0.9 amps, compared to a fast charger which charges at nearly 3 amps (~1 hr full charge time) but it turns the phone into a hotplate and could affect battery life.I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Active 2 Smartwatch (SM-R810) and paired it up easily with the Pixel via Bluetooth, but with a fair amount of convoluted messing about with the Samsung apps got it all working reasonably well though it’s a bit crazy and somewhat buggy. I sure wish Samsung would produce practical software like Google does. I did a review on the watch too.So was it worth it? Probably not, but mostly because my old Pixel 2 was such a nice reliable workhorse that has never slowed down even with 150 or so apps. Every other phone I ever owned has slowly ground to a standstill. I use quite a lot of apps.Am I glad I bought it? For sure, but I just can’t part with the Pixel 2 so now that one’s a spare.

Really happy with this phone so far. Had been using a Galaxy S8+ the last few years and was looking for something new, with better battery life (I was usually get 12-14hrs on my S8). So far the 3a XL hasn’t disappointed! Yesterday I went to bed with the phone at 37% battery after being unplugged for 17 hours and had over 5 hours of screen on time (still had another 8 hours in the tank according to the phone). My only complaint is with the Pixel launcher which forces you into having the Google search bar and what’s happening widget in your homescreen all the time. Can’t be removed…. Considering I was looking for the ‘true’ Android experience I was floored that they won’t let you change that. Oh well, went to the Play store, grabbed Nova launcher and all is well! Performance is great and the camera is fantastic (especially the night site feature).

Big fat FAIL is better than eating away at my sanity. Background: As with many other aspects of my life, I am not a typical user so please read this review with that in mind. I am a heavy music listener, spending a lot of time listening to music in a car or at work listening over bluetooth headphones, take lots of pictures and in any other respect mostly use the phone for texting, calling, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, multi-factor authentication, web browsing and e-book reading. I bought this phone unlocked but I have been a Verizon customer for well over a decade. I went for almost 4 years with the Samsung S8 without any issues. Towards the end, the battery was starting to give out and I was over the quality of the camera in it since I rely on that feature heavily in my work. Unfortunately, I should have done more research than I did (though I see plenty of reviews that still praise its virtues). I think it all comes down to what you’re going to use it for (tell me something I don’t know, right?).The camera is as solid as others describe. Night Sight is actually pretty cool and produces quality pictures even in low lighting without the obscenity of a flash. Pictures taken in normal settings are true to color and sharp. Love the Google Lens feature that allows it to identify text in pictures so I can track FedEx packages or just copy a MAC address from a pic instead of typing it out. I couldn’t ask for more out of a cell phone camera. Never had issues with apps for checking mail, instant messaging, browsing or third party app use. Face recognition was just about perfect unless it was in the zone of trying to authenticate me with a PIN (it would do that occasionally and would not let me unlock by face) or I was wearing a mask. (Damn you, 2020!)But at what cost to my peace of mind? At $650 paid up front, it shouldn’t be like this. There are several idiosyncrasies this phone has that just drove me crazy:What gives with the battery life? – There were days where the battery would regular slip down fairly quickly to nothing and other days where it withstood my usage valiantly. I played with the battery settings and app settings on a regular basis but could find no rhyme or reason why the battery life performed worse on some days and better on others.Screen brightness – If you read pro reviews for this phone, you’ll see them complain that the brightest display setting is only adequate in bright light environments. That is actually pretty on the mark. If you mess with the phone’s auto-detection of ambient light, beware. It will keep that setting and you may find yourself looking at a very dark screen when you need to know which freeway exit to take. Or it will go bright and eat away mercilessly at your battery. The term auto-brightness with this phone is to be taken with a grain of salt.Thumbnails? What are those? – Another little issue that made me grit my teeth is the lack of thumbnail support when browsing your pictures using File Explorer. You cannot see picture previews if the pics are on your phone and you are using a computer to view them. Does. Not. Work. You must view the pics on the phone by date and either open them one by one or copy them off to your computer whereupon the thumbnail function will once again miraculously work. Apparently a Pixel speciality.Weird texting issues – occasionally, my text messages to certain users would start timing out and would never work again unless I either a) deleted the entire conversation with that contact or b) delete the contact and text to the phone number instead. Not a dealbreaker, but certainly annoying when no other phone I’ve owned has ever had this kind of glitch.Smart Gestures – Switching tracks by moving your hand was sketchy at best. It would often misinterpret shifting gears or touching the car’s screen as a request to switch tracks. I couldn’t keep the squeeze features enabled because when turned OFF the phone would pause music tracks or the Bluetooth connection would start freaking out when I held the phone’s edges too firmly. Turning that feature on just invited madness in. I have screen attention turned on, but that doesn’t stop it from going to sleep anyway and that’s without battery saver mode turned on! The only smart sense I appreciated was the SHH feature of flipping the phone over to put it into do not disturb mode.Bluetooth issues – This is certainly not the death knell for this Google offering but more like the last straw for me. About a week ago, I installed PowerAmp to listen to local tracks since Amazon Music has issues when selecting tracks that aren’t in the cloud or doesn’t detect them altogether… or it was this PHONE! (Don’t think I don’t suspect you, you pos!) Recall how above I complained that the smart gesture function to move tracks didn’t work? Although it was working fine before, suddenly the artist and track info no longer get transmitted from my Pixel to my car AND I can’t use the car’s touch screen to skip or rewind tracks. I have to start playing with my phone while driving now to either find out what I’m listening to or change tracks. How is this progress and concern for public safety? I can’t use Alexa because my music is so loud, I would have to pause it first to talk to the phone. I tested this with my iPad and song track and forward / backward functionality work fine. The solution, I’m afraid is to pack up this phone, trade it in and get another Samsung, which I’m doing.

Arrived in original packaging, all sealed and whatnot. Works fine and is a good grab for the sale priceHowever, had a Verizon SIM card. Creepy! The phone might have been tampered with. This disrespect alone brings the rating to 1 star.Make sure to wipe the system off the phone and install it fresh, you can grab it from Google Developers website.

I went through a lot of hoops to get this phone at a satisfactory quality for the price I wanted, and it took over a month of returns and talking with customer service representatives, but it was totally worth it in the end. The phone is fantastic and the camera quality kicks even newer, more expensive phones to the curb, especially in night mode. As the title says, expect some battery drainage with Android 12, but hopefully a software patch comes along for it sometime soon.

The new Samsung note. Samsung devices have been my goto since the note 2.Flip flopping on sdcard vs no sdcard is irritating.I purchased this after my wife purchased hers. I was that impressed with the camera. Aside from that, there isn’t much of an upgrade over my Note 10+.The Note 10+ is going on 3 years old, and rumors say the next device will have all rounded corners. I don’t like that design, and that was reason I chose to buy this. The glass seems more fragile than previous versions. My wife had hers for a week before dropping it less than 2 feet, while using a protective case and the screen cracked, looking like a spider web.The buttons moving to the right, and s pen moving to the left, isn’t a problem, though I’d like to know the why behind it.I have no opinion on battery life, as charging phones is so easy, I just don’t care. There is something different in the charging design though. My note 10+ with thick cases could still fast charge in my charging stand. The 22 ultra, using the same charging stand, and same brand and style of thick case will not.I have had no issues with camera lag, overheating, fingerprint scanner, or any of the other complaints I’ve read about.

Llego sellado y nuevo.

First time I try a refurbished phone. But the price and phone capabilities were basically to good to be true… So I decided to go with the “excellent” option. There is not a scratch, dent or anything on this phone. It is immaculate, it’s new. Yes it comes in a generic white box and has a usb-c cable and the sim port ejector. No charger. But if you buy this phone new, it does not come with a charger anyway…. I inserted my sim card, powered on the phone, followed the on-screen direction and done… Even the OS was already updated to Android 12… I then used SmartSwitch and transferred my data to the new phone. Done. Everything works!! We did have an issue with delivery, but that was a Canada Post problem and the supplier resolved the issues right away. Excellent phone, excellent supplier!! I would buy again from this supplier without thinking twice!!

Phone is great but bombarded with Software Updates and minimal packaging protection. Just be aware that when setting up the phone the Software is likely extremely outdated so expect an hour to set it up after downloading 2 years of updates which will eat up around another 20-30GB of the 128GB you get, aside from transferring your own data to the device.Other than that the phone itself is good. Few minor scrapes and scratches around the camera, not original box, bare bones packaging,no interior padding or light bubble wrap.Came with pre-installed screen protector (which I changed anyway),can confirm it came with a generic charger that I didn’t even bother to open, would not recommend you risk damaging the phone plugging it up with it,buy a higher quality one for a few extra bucks.receipt and return slip in the box. No headphones.Battery life shoots down by 10-15st but may just be an analysis flaw based on aging, it still lasts plenty long about 5 or 6 hours with heavy use. Fingerprint, screen, everything is fine no issues with the phone itself. Wireless charging is a bit slow for me, super fast charging works.Cameras functional. That’s about it.

Awesome Phone. Firstly I was pretty skeptical of purchasing an unlocked phone never owning one before but so far this device has been nothing but first class performance. The only issue I have had so far is with getting this masterpiece to do wifi calling, but I have this same problem with my Galaxy S20 Plus and was able to figure out how to get it working and I have high hopes that the same will happen here. I have tried the moon zoom and it was spectacular. I love the size of this phone though I wish Samsung had at least made it the same size as the Galaxy S22 Ultra which is 6.9 inches, but however I can still work with 6.8 inches. I love the bigger screen phones because they are better for conducting business on the go and of course videos, movies and photography. Love the brightness of the screen and need I not mention the S Pen which I always wanted. Though it’s true that this phone is pretty expensive, still, all in all it’s worth every single penny for everything thing that has been put into it including hours of labor and time. I didn’t want to upgrade my Galaxy S20 Plus this soon, but after seeing the moon zoom and the fact that this phone featured the popular S Pen, I have no other choice but to dive in, besides life is too short to not have the things we work hard for, so with that said I pampered myself to this device that I hope to have for many years to come. I seen in the reviews where someone stated that the phone will not charge past 85 percent. Go to settings, battery and device care followed by battery and then more battery setting and turn off the protect battery setting if you want your device to charge the entire 100 percent. However keep in mind that keeping this setting turned on increase the life of your battery when it only charges to 85 percent. Sound quality has also improved once again in this device and that is something that I love as well. I guess the even better part is the updates that is going to hopefully follow to put the icing on the cake because, as far as the hardware….. it’s all there. Samsung has even stepped up their game and threw in McAfee on this one, so with that said, I stepped mine’s up as well and bought the package deal from McAfee that will protect up to 10 devices. People, you ain’t going to get better than this. This phone is super fast. I’m going to miss the memory card slot but just like the headphones port, I’ll get over it quickly for all that this phone packs, I say so long memory card slot, welcome home Galaxy S23 Ultra.Update: 5/28/23.After having this phone longer, I’ve discovered more about it. The Bluetooth feature in this device is much faster than the one on my S20 Plus. My Galaxy Watch now connects instantly, where in my S20 Plus it took a few seconds to connect. I have been loving this phone so much that I have decided to replace the original plastic S Pen that came with it with the aluminum one to do my own part of keeping high-end products matched up with high-end products as I did with the case, going with the Otterbox Defender series pro case for this baby. I’ve heard people mention having dropped calls on Samsung phones, however I have not experienced that in this device this far into ownership. The photo of the Cellular Tower I took using the camera on this phone was taken from about a mile and some change away and I was zoomed to around 30mm out of 100, just to give you a better idea of what the camera on this device can do. I am very tickle with the benchmark results of this device, very, very beautiful results. Still waiting to see what it will do with a full moon not to mention the very popular “Super Moon”. After using this phone for nearly two months now I still must say that it has been an amazing experience. I have also noticed where some are unfairly reviewing the phone, either you have a defective device or is not doing something right. The battery should be no less than 5 stars, and I personally would give it 10 stars if I could for being a perfect 10. I have gotten at least 4 days out of my phone off a single charge, I have also noticed where the fingerprint scanner got an unfair low rating, again if you use it right it will work right. Since setting this area of the phone up I have not once had any problems with the fingerprint scanner picking up my fingerprint, even when I have done it snappy it has never failed to work. So far on this device, I have not experienced any of the dropped calls that I hear about since the very moment I inserted my sim card into this phone. At last, I was able to take a few photos of the popular supermoon. Wasn’t that clear of an evening here but I still must say that the camera on this phone did an awesome job capturing it at 230mm and around 7mp.

This my 3rd Moto phone over the past 9 years. The bloat free OS is one of the attractions. I’ve never owed a “high end” phone and I’m really not sure what I’m missing. These so called budget phones work for me with speed and reliability. When I see an “uptime” of over 2000 hours, I know it’s a rock solid phone. Really, the only time I re-boot is on an OS/security upgrade. The phone works well on Canada’s Rogers network. I’ve had no issues crossing the border into the US. The camera works for my purposes and the Moto gestures are a great feature. The hatchet move to turn the flashlight on is used often as well as the rotate to start the camera. The only reason I replace these phones is the battery, like all phones they tend to lose their staying power after 3 years. I see no reason to replace batteries in old phones.I will continue to purchase Moto phones in the future.

Powerful Phone. I had a Galaxy S8+ that I purchased new back in 2017. I have used that phone every day since: it was great -and did everything I needed my phone to do. But alas, it started to slow down and sometimes shutdown and not automatically restart after updates. So, it was time for a new phone.I am not a social media person, and while I take some photos and videos, they are minimal. However, I do use my phone as a vital assistant/substitute for my computer: research, email, communication, especially while away from the office (I am frequently in Court for business). To replace my old phone, I decided to purchase the S22 Ultra (instead of the S23 Ultra) only because the difference in price. The “new” functionality of the S23 Ultra was not enough to get me to spend an extra $500 plus dollars. That said, the S22 Ultra (black) with 256 GB and 12 GB of RAM is an amazing phone. The reviews are correct that the phone is powerful, the screen size is great and high-definition clarity is amazing. I still don’t want to watch movies on a such a tiny screen — but if there was nothing else to do, it will work in a pinch. The sound quality is superb, the speed of loading apps/attachments/files and the refresh rate are off the charts! So far the battery life is exactly what is advertised — even with the high definition of the screen and the size of the screen, the phone power is efficient. And the S Pen is very handy! To sum up – I am very happy with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra phone! I hope I get another six years — but even at only four years, it will have more than paid for itself as the work horse I need!

big step up from my lg23+. This phone is huge and weighs in a good bit more than my last phone. Battery life seems to be about the same as what I had. Lots to be said about this phone.Camera is pretty dang nice. There are some strange ‘glitches’ when it transfers between lenses. Even though this is Android and I have been using Android, there is a ton to learn to use the camera.Screen is very clean and nice.Finger print reader with a screen protector is kind of hit and miss. The detectors is behind the screen. Not sure how they work that magic but its kind of cool. Make sure you set your pin first.Reception. This seems to be pretty good on t mobile. I was able to just take my sim card from my old phone and insert it into this phone… no need to go to the store to transfer the account. Copied the data from my old phone using a usb cable in 10ish minutes. No problems there. All the critical apps seem to be working like before. Some needed to be re-setup. Had to reconnect to our WIFI networks.Very disappointed that you cannot use a micro-SD card. Especially when you see the price difference to get something like 1T of storage. Its a bit ridiculous to have a 200 M pixel camera and not allow for user supplied storage. In fact, its really really lame. The weight and size of the camera takes a bit to get used to. Its only like an inch longer and 1/3 inch wider, but wow what a difference that makes. The speaker(s) are really good. There is kind of a spatial sound on this phone. The phone is pretty fast for everything I have done, processor wise. The s-pen its really cool…i have been using it as a remote trigger for the phone. The phone surface is pretty slick (as in a little slippery) so I highly recommend a case.Magsafe is a cool feature. There is a magnetic attachment point over the wireless charging. With the right case, you can do several things with this, like attach a second battery with no wires, just by placing it behind the case. You can add a kick-stand, wallet, etc.Customization is pretty solid on the phone. Seems like you can customize pretty much anything.Blutooth pairing is pretty simple and have had no problems here.Overall, this is a good phone. Plan on taking a week or so to explore all the different features.

Excellent condition, unlocked, worked with a European SIM card. I needed an unlocked phone to use in Italy and Austria. I bought this S21+ along with an “Orange Holiday Europe” SIM card. The phone arrived in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents. The screen appeared to have been replaced. After setting it up, I tested it by installing SIM cards from AT&T and TELLO, both worked perfectly – it’s definitely unlocked.Right before the trip, I installed the “Orange” SIM card with the phone powered down. Upon arrival in Italy I powered it up, and it immediately connected to the local service. We used Google Maps to get from the airport to our hotel some 50km’s away, no problems at all.Photos taken on the trip were excellent. We installed Google Translate and Microsoft Translator which worked perfectly and were a real asset in helping us navigate the foreign signs, menus, etc. We also set up Hot Spot and Tethering, and used that along with wireless calling on our US SIM based phones to make and receive free calls and texts to/from US numbers. It all worked as expected with no issues. There are two minor issues to report. The battery life was OK, I would start each day at 100% but by end of day it typically had around 30% remaining. My new (locked) S23+ easily gets two days on a single charge.I did notice a minor blemish on the screen after a week of using it. At first I thought it was just a greasy smear, but no amount of cleaning has managed to remove it. I didn’t notice this when I first received the phone so it most likely manifested after use. It would seem to be a flaw with the screen itself. I did not use a screen protector, which may or may not have helped to prevent it from occurring. Fortunately it’s close to the bottom of the screen and has not really affected the viewing area, nor has it affected the touch screen in the area of the blemish.All-in-all I am happy with this phone. I plan to use it for future international trips as it can do what I need without having to pay the $10-a-day AT&T International Roaming plan – that soon gets very expensive with 2 or more phones.

I switched from Samsung Galaxy to the Google Pixel because I wanted a better camera, and I definitely got better quality photos though it seems I don’t have as many options for editing the photos on the Pixel, like adding stickers, etc. Reading the reviews, the notch was a big deal to some people but I don’t notice it at all. I found it awkward to take screenshots – how do you hold the power and volume buttons at the same time when they’re on the same side of the phone? On the Samsung they were on opposite sides so much easier. I accidentally discovered that I can just swipe up and get a screenshot button to press. I didn’t find that tip in any of the help sites. Adding the emoji icon to the phone keyboard shortcuts was something else I figured out by accident. You’d think it would be there already. I like the call screening feature! It’s easy and works great. I find the battery doesn’t last as long as I would like, but I guess that’s to be expected from a new Pixel 3 XL that I bought more than three years after it was released in 2018. It does charge very fast and it was super easy to transfer apps from my Samsung using the cord that came in the box. I thought the larger size might be a problem being a petite person, but it fits my hand just fine. For using basic apps and taking photos and videos, I would recommend buying this phone. It was 1/5 of the original price so definitely worth it.

Very happy with this purchase. I had to replace my Moto e6 phone after it fell to the pavement out of a shopping cart at a local grocery store without a screen protector. After reviewing my choices in lower cost phones, I decided to buy this renewed Samsung A32 5G. I’m not going to go into a lot of detail about the features on this phone because you can find video reviews on YouTube for that. I’ll say that at this price level you will be hard pressed to find a phone with so many features, especially one that is just two years old. Oddly enough, the 4G version of this phone (simply called the A32) has lenses with a higher resolution that this one, but I think 48MP resolution is pretty good, and a definite improvement over my previous phone. The fingerprint scanner built into the side button is a nice way of unlocking your phone. I requested a phone that was in “excellent” condition, and that was what I got, with absolutely no visible marks or damage to either the case or the screen. I use T-Mobile (prepaid) for my carrier, and I was able to take the SIM card out of my old phone and put it into this one and use the phone right away without any issues. I am very happy with this phone.

Fantastic value. This was my second attempt at buying a “Renewed by Amazon” phone. The first one almost scared me off from going this route but this Samsung arrived looking like a new phone, with no visible wear, or scratches on the screen. The phone had a new feel to it. I love everything about it. Everything about the phone is perfect. It has great battery life. The display is crystal clear. The NFC works flawlessly for CGMs and tap-to-pay. The phone is very quick when running apps and even gaming. The cameras, front and back, are the best I’ve ever had on any phone. The only cons if there are any are: 1. There is no memory expansion slot. It may be a problem at some later date but I doubt it. And, 2. The sound is not the greatest. I have a Bluetooth speaker that pairs flawlessly with it, so it really isn’t a big problem. This Samsung is an amazing phone and the renewed by Amazon really shows how to get a great deal on a phone.

  33. Not bad! :)

As Expected. I am in love with my Pixel 6, and having the option to get one Renewed for the price of a cheap TracFone is great!I ordered one in “Good Condition” and received exactly that. The only defects I have noticed are a few super tiny scratches on the bottom back glass and a little on the metal surrounding the camera visor. Otherwise; it is scratch free and even came with a screen protector. The phones performance is great. It is incredibly fast and has some groundbreaking smart “AI” features. Features such as “Now Playing” to keep a record of all songs that have played around you, automatic call screening, incredibly fast dictation, adaptive charging, and the camera is fantastic (Although it does seem like there is something under the lenses that flares when taking pictures at night). The battery life and finger print scanner are my two complaints. The battery is acceptable, but 6 to 7 hours of SOT is pretty bad for a modern phone. The finger print scanner is slow and often doesn’t recognize my thumb.Overall; this is a much better option than any midrange device on the market.

$140 for 6 month disposable. My previous A32 started having problems with focus and wasn’t taking clear photos. Love the phone, so I decided to give refurbished a try. Got new phone, slid it into the protective case that I kept my other A32 in and started it up. Noticed right away that the scrolling seemed a little bit slower. Seemed minor, didn’t think much of it, I read slow, so slow scroll not a biggie. About 4 months in the phone started freezing up regularly and I would arrive at a point where I would have to set the phone down and let it work out its issues at its own pace or do a restart, which I then did several times until last week I dropped it while walking through my kitchen. I kept my OLD phone in the SAME case, dropped it in the kitchen before, in much the same manner, more than once and it was always fine. Dropped this refurbished phone once and it has been dead black screen ever since. Went back to old phone, and now taking pictures in a different mode. Not sure I’ll try refurbished again. If you do, pay real close attention to the 90 day guarantee that the phone comes with. Looking back, I wish I had returned it when the scroll was slow and especially after it froze up the first time. Good luckCheers

Third party vendors but Amazon will help you. The S22 Ultra is an outstanding phone, which is to be expected at this price point. It is fairly sophisticated and requires intelligence to set up to use, so not really suitable for about 30% of people. This review is more about how Amazon supports customers. The used phones are a program Amazon has with third party vendors. I had a problem with returning two phones that had problems. This is to be expected occasionally as it is hard for a vendor to guarantee such a complex device fully works. The problem is that I accidentally returned both phones to one vendor due to….well… it was my fault whatever my excuse. The vendor credited me for their bad phone (fingerprint sensor not working) but said nothing about other phone. They refused to respond to emails until I threatened to rat them out to Amazon. Then they asked me what IMEI the other phone was. No way I could get that since they had phone.I had contacted Amazon earlier, initially India customer service, which was pretty worthless. Tried again and got someone I thought was outstanding. She was very smart, helpful, and impressively to the point. She got it all figured out and said she would deal with the vendor. A week later the phone was refunded.I have been shopping Amazon regularly since they started selling used textbooks. This is why I am still a loyal customer.

Still going strong. The information below still holds true. However, after several weeks with this phone, I actually like it better than my Samsung A54. When the screen is locked and off, you get these little information dots. Based on the dot symbol, I can tell whether it is a text from someone, or just a notification from an app.I can touch the little dot symbol, it will give me a little bit of information. I can swipe from that dot, to dismiss, close out or respond. I like that. Lastly, I have noticed the battery life is better than the Samsung A54. Not fantastic like my old Moto G Power, that would last three days easily, without needing a charge. But, this one last about 20% longer than the Samsung A54. Other than that, both phones (the Samsung A54 works just fine), are pretty good for the price.————-This is an early review of the Moto G Power 5g-2023 model. Just got it yesterday.First, I have a Samsung A54, that I purchased least Christmas season and it works fine. No broken screen, no scratches. But the battery life on it (the A54) did not impress my at all. Felt the same about the Nord 10, which also is in perfect working condition.Realized that I had been spoiled. By my 4 or 5 year old, Moto G Power 2019 or 2020 phone. I could easily go three days, without having to worry about constantly looking at the battery state, with normal use.Yes, it still works, too! Oh yes, I wanted a headphone jack again, which the Samsung doesn’t have.Yes, I have blue tooth headphones (not earbuds), but a set of good corded earbuds, is easy to take out of your pocket and pop into your eye, when you are mobile. So getting the new Moto G Power 5g 2023, at $200 was what I was waiting for. Here’s what I have noticed:a. The screen is cleaner and brighter than my Samsung A54, at a lower setting.b. It is actually a little taller and thinner than my Samsung A54, and not at wide. So it is easier to hold in my hands.c. Charging time is similar when I put them on two chargers of the same brand, type and wattage.d. The front facing camera lens hole is definitely wider on the Moto G, I barely notice it on the Samsung.e. Setup was very easy. I connected a USB-C, cord between the Samsung and Moto G, and all of my account information was transferred. I could select NOT to transfer media from the old phone to the new one, since I had inserted, a micro sd slot into the new phone, with what media I always wanted to keep.f. The fingerprint reader is on the side of the phone, vs, in the screen like the Samsung. Which I actually prefer. Here are the disappointments:1. This phone is newer than the Samsung A54. Yet, when I did the Geek bench Test series on it, the final results were that the Moto G Power 2023 is about 20% ‘slower’ than the Samsung. Oh, according to Geek Bench, they have the same processor.2. I’m only seeing a slightly better battery performance than the Samsung, which is very disappointing, because of the POWER name, that is slapped on it. Definitely no where close to the battery longevity of my old Moto G Power 4g.3. When I tested the wifi speed, the Samsung A54, downloaded faster, by about 20%.4. This might be user error. But I can’t figure out how to get 5 app icons in a row, compared to my other phones. The Samsung gives me a grid option, in home screen settings. But I do not see that in the menu of the Moto G Power 2023, even though they ‘both’ have Android 13.Yes, I know 5g drains the battery faster than 4g, when all things are the same. I didn’t expect it to quite match my old Moto G Power. But I was extrapolating that it would be at least 30% better than the competing Samsung A54, which last about a day, before I have to recharge it. It seems 10% at best of an improvement. So if you have a Samsung A54, and you are looking for performance improvement, I would not buy this phone.BUT, if you have an older phone, like the Samsung A52 (which I had traded in for the Samsung A54), this is definitely a good upgrade at this price, since it was originally about $299. Especially, if you don’t want to have to be bothered with wireless headphones, or fancy ‘tiny’ wireless earbuds, whose batteries, barely last a few hours.Perception-Someone with ‘wired’ earbuds walking around in public, are because of industry image, perceived as cheap. That is the image that I want. Will I return them? Nope, too much hassle and they do give me the headphone jack, that I wanted. But I know that POWER meaning of the past phones, is not the POWER meaning of the newer ones.Attached photo, sorry about it being sideway. The Nord plus phone is at the top (different wallpaper), the Samsung is in the middle and the Moto G Power at the bottom. Same wallpaper because it copied over in the transfer. That’s it.

Like New = New. I ordered the used like new through Amazon warehouse. What I received was the device in original packaging, sealed, and the device had the original plastic protective films on the front, back, and sides of the device. The usbc cable was still had the plastic fasteners on it. I am pretty sure someone must have ordered the device and sent it back without ever using it or even opening the box. So essentially I got a New device for the price of a used one.The device itself is phenomenal. Exactly what you expect for the most premium of Samsung android smartphones with the best of the best under the hood. Absolutely fantastic purchase.

The phone is in exceptional condition.Arrived way earlier than I expected, which is awesome!Only “but” is that the Seller said it comes with a charger and the little key thing that pops open the SIM card slot. That stuff wasn’t in the box, but no biggie. The reason I gave 4 stars??I bought the phone is because it was on a crazy good sale for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. So, I bought it.2 days later, it was on sale for $40 cheaper, and that really bugged me.Other than that garbage, the phone is absolutely fantastic, and I’d buy from these guys again.Cheers, good luck, and Merry Christmas 🙂

The Pixel 6 is a great phone. I love this phone. I received what I ordered from this company with no issues and I would definitely use them again. This phone was unlocked and it easily connected to my Verizon account.I have always been an android user and this is my second pixel phone, I don’t have anything bad to say about it. The battery life easily gets me through a day and I watch videos and I am on it all the time. The recharge rate is slower than other phones but make sure you plug it in at night while you are sleeping and there is never an issue. I have even went two days without charging although half way through the second day, I did have to watch my use until I got back home. The phone is sleek, stylish, and easy to use. Google makes great phones. I haven’t experienced any lag or any issues while texting, talking, or surfing the web. The memory is more than enough for me but I do know you can get them with more memory if needed. The updates are supposed to go well into 2028 (with the pixel 6) so you don’t have to worry about that part being outdated. The phone is well built and I love it. I will stay with pixel phones in the future, every one I have had, has been a great phone.

Bottom line: Great phone with new car smell. I am on a budget and opted for the Pixel 6 after researching many phones. I upgrade my phones every 2-3 years and the 8Gb of ram is what tipped the scale for me. My carrier only certified 4 brands on it’s roaming network: Samsung, Apple, Google Pixels and Motorola. The listing mentioned it was a 9/10 but when I opened the box it had that new car smell and looked like it was never used so super happy on that front along with its super low price compared to other vendors on Amazon and other e-tailers. The phone is super fast and responsive when it comes to notifications like Ring and smart home functions. This phone pleasantly surprises me daily as I am still getting to know its features. My previous phone had dual sim slots which one of them was used with a 64GB memory card. This Pixel 6 has 128Gb of storage space with 1 sim slot so I can say goodbye to my memory card. The size of the phone fits just right in my hand. Watching content on the screen is great and the the audio is very good as well. Battery life is impressive and it does take a bit longer to charge than my previous phone but that’s only because the battery capacity is larger. I’ve had the phone for 2+ weeks and have no complaints.

4.5 Star Phone. Samsung knows what its doing.Pro’s: Battery life, performance, UI, screen, software upgrades, charging speed, size, supportMeh: CameraCon’s: NoneI owned the S23+ for 10 months. It is completely reliable and a great daily driver. Battery & charging was excellent, performance was superb, and One UI is now better than the stock Pixel launcher. I never had battery anxiety. It’s a great phone to travel with or use for work. It’s an overall excellent phone.I just exchanged it for a Pixel 8 Pro. The only reason that I switched is because I can’t get behind Samsungs idea of picture quality. Many people like how they process pictures which is why I gave the phone a perfect score. I just like the Pixel’s toned down and natural look better.

Happy With This Cellphone. I’ve had this cellphone for over a year now and am completely happy with its performance. It has an excellent camera, and I’ve almost stopped using my SLR in deference to the one in the phone. I’ve rated the face recognition average, because it doesn’t seem to recognize me reliably, but that is not a big concern to me. Likewise, with a screen protector installed, it does not accept my fingerprint for unlocking, but I’m happy using a different method. It has great sound quality and holds all my contacts perfectly. It is easy to use and I’ve installed several apps on it that I find useful too. It would easily go two days without charging.

Great Phone. I like the phone. But I must have misread that it doesn’t work on the AT&T network. I guess that’s on me. It’s not my primary phone, so I went with another carrier using a virtual SIM. Surprisingly, Mint Mobile provided that really easy. 15 months of unlimited data for $405 plus tax is a lot cheaper than I get with AT&T on my primary phone, and the service has been good so far too. I’m ahead right now.

No papers for any knowledge of use. Looks good, seemed to work good in beginning. Now, some of my fast charging cables listed for this phone isn’t working. Not sure if maybe the refurbish was the battery. In which if the original battery had been replaced, that would ruin the battery they replaced with. My previous ph had no problem staying connected to my wifi, unlike this one drops wifi all the time. I would recommend that refurbished phones should allow the reason of refurbish so you know what problem to watch for!!!

This phone is amazing for the price. I love this phone! What else can I say. It has a nice big screen, plenty of storage space which you can expand with a micro SD card. I can move between apps very quickly as the phone has plenty of power to run what I need to. I love the fingerprint reader which allows me to log into some of my apps by just holding my thumb onto the right side power button. It also has face recognition. I have only ever had Samsung Android phones in the past and this is my first Motorola phone. I like the way it works better than the Samsung. Everything is just intuitive and very easy to get along with. For text message codes, it lets you copy the code in the notification or it will auto-capture the code so you can just paste it into the app you need to. With my Samsung phones, that feature was always hit or miss. The camera is great and captures great images and video. Even the front facing camera is great quality and you can get nice selfies on it. Definitely make sure you grab a case for it and I would also recommend a glass screen protector. I can’t believe how inexpensive this phone was for how great it is. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. Oh and did I mention it’s 5G capable?! Amazing!

What a great phone. I had a moto G fast with 32 gigs of memory and the phone worked for a good 2.5 years until the memory got almost full and my apps would not work well. When I looked for a new phone I went with moto again and got the moto 5G with 128 gigs of memory. Now, this phone is plenty fast and there are no issues with the memory as of yet. The interface with my new phone and my old phone was very simple and easy. You just have to make sure that you have a cable that can connect both phones so that the transfer goes well and easy. At least that is what I did. Maybe someone else has a better way to do it. When you get the questions during the transfer make sure you read them well and select the proper answer otherwise, you will have a few issues. Don’t be hasty on selection your answers.I like this phone because it has a fingerprint recognition. I did not do the face recognition because I only like a few steps on my phone. I was also able to do a pass number and I go between the two. It is a good thing because while doing house repairs the finger I used for fingerprint recognition got a bit damaged so I had to sign in with my pass number.Overall the interaction and transfer between phones was easy. I think it will be the same with other phones as well. So far my new phone is working great. I don’t have any issues. I still have my old phone and I only use it for reference. Highly recommend this phone to anyone looking for a low budget phone with great features.

Great affordable phone. I got this to replace a 2-year-old Moto G power. The ratings and reviews said that the Samsung a15 had great battery life which is the single most important thing to me. I have been completely happy with this phone for a couple of weeks now. The screen is much brighter than most, which I like. I love many of the things Samsung has done with its software including adaptive screen brightness. It is a tremendous value. The only thing I’m not happy with is that when you use wired earbuds, the sound stutters at lower volumes unless it has a 3.5 mm plug with four sections instead of three. Earbuds with microphones have four sections. So I can’t use my old earbuds, I ordered some new ones with microphones (and they work perfectly). Other than that, it is snappy, has plenty of RAM, plenty of storage, the fingerprint sensor works well, the cameras are pretty good and Samsung seems to be good about updates. Another of my essential criteria is no 5g. 5G is proven dangerous and I don’t want to be anywhere near it. While this is 5G capable on certain networks, you can turn it off which is wonderful! You certainly can’t go wrong for $170!

Love Google Pixel. This review may be a little bias because I love Google Pixel phones. I have used them for years. This model camera is even better than the previous. It takes great, sharp looking pictures. It has great storage and battery life. No complaints.

I got this to replace my Motorola Power 2021 and it’s night and day difference. It’s no flagship phone, but every part of the phone is better, except that this model doesn’t make battery life its sole priority. The other features, while nice, drain the battery somewhat faster. That said, I can still get through a day of moderate use without needing to charge. Everything works good. It is a very good phone, especially for the price.

Warning: READ THE REVIEWS, GLITCHY AF. I am replacing my broken pixel 6, and this one is NOT it. GLITCHY af. My guess is they buy cheaper off brand parts to fix the phones, though I am only speculating. Take it from a software engineer that writes apps professionally, this phone should not behave this way…Details below:I paid more and ordered a refurbished “excellent” quality phone, and I received a phone with scratches on the metal bezel and on the top left corner. If that was all, I would have forgiven them, but it wasn’t.The phone that I got was really glitchy on the touch screen. Swipe down gestures were a joke. It was very laggy and not responsive on the touches and other swipe gestures (like back swipe), even after all the software updates and reboots. In fact, I have the same phone to compare it next to side by side and it was so bad compared to my other phone (that actually even had a broken screen). Something is not right with the way this company does their repairs. After I discovered my probkems, I read the reviews. Whoops. Can’t say I wasn’t warned…I don’t know if it originally had water damage, cheap parts, dropped in shipping, or what, but I was expecting much better from a top rated “excellent” quality refurbished phone. More like, BAD quality. Go with a different supplier. I will be cautious before buying from this supplier again. Returning this garbage immediately

Battery performance not good. After one year I’m finally throwing in the towel on this one. Battery performance has always been an issue. Now I’m having trouble getting it to charge. Also have issues periodically connecting to cellular network and showing good signal strength but not taking or making phone calls. Both problems are usually fixed by restarting the phone.

Absolute JUNK!! BUYERS BEWARE. I bought this in October 2023. I got it, turned it on and did the setup. I turned it off and put it in my safe. Today is April 8th 2024. I took my phone out of the safe and turned it on. It loaded the main screen of the phone and then the screen went bright white.. You couldn’t see ANYTHING!! Ive tried everything to get this phone working. The cellular gallery Inc is who the phone came from. They flat out refuse to do ANYTHING to replace the $290 I paid for the phone. I have fought for weeks with Amazon and this company. I googled this company and there are THOUSANDS of reviews that this company sells junk broke down phones that don’t work past 90 days. I never thought about my return deadline date since the phone worked at arrival and it was in my safe untouched since October 2023. These people sold me a POS phone and neither them nor Amazon want to make it right. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!
